Suspect sought in Durham armed robbery

Investigators on Tuesday released surveillance photos of a man wanted for a convenience store robbery.

DURHAM, N.C. — Investigators on Tuesday released surveillance photos of a man wanted for a convenience store robbery.

The man forced an employee into the Kangaroo Express at 3101 Guess Rd. on Oct. 26, shortly after 2 a.m., and robbed the business of cash at gunpoint, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-40s, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He was bald and wore a black jacket, blue jeans, a hat and black and white sneakers. He fled in a gray sedan, possibly a Kia, driven by another male.
