Suspect sought in Chapel Hill robbery

— Chapel Hill police on Thursday said they are searching for a suspect in a strong-arm robbery last week.

It happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 5 in the parking lot of the State Employees Credit Union, at 110 S. Elliott Road, police said.

The suspect was a heavy-set black man in his mid-30s with facial hair and gaps between his teeth, investigators said.

He was driving an older-model black pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet S-10, with white lettering on the side and back window.

Anyone with information about the crime should contact Chapel Hill police at 919- 968-2767, ext. 128, or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515.

Calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller might be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

    Let's see, this suspect I'm guessing has a rap sheet and prior convictions, hmmmm. Move on to the other story, the kidnapping in Cary, bet he has prior convictions.     Hey now, whess, Strahan only has a gap between his two front teeth. And he hasn't let himself go that much to be called heavy-set. He's more "soft" than anything :)
