Suspect sketch released in north Raleigh shooting

Raleigh police on Tuesday released a sketch of a man they believe shot a woman in a north Raleigh apartment complex in July.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police on Tuesday released a sketch of a man they believe shot a woman in a north Raleigh apartment complex in July.

Police said a woman was shot by an unknown man at 2811 Calliope Way, off Old Wake Forest Road, around 10 p.m. on July 18.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned black man, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds. He wore his hair in braided, shoulder-length corn rows and has crooked, overlapping front teeth.
