Suspect detained, second sought in Goldsboro robbery

Posted July 29, 2011

— Goldsboro police said Friday that they made one arrest in an armed robbery this week and are  still looking for another suspect.

Ryan Robert Smith, 20, whose address was unavailable, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon stemming from the July 27 report of two people robbing a man at gunpoint and then stealing his car.

Investigators are still looking for Terrian Devone Gaines Jr., 22, whose last known address is 200 Wayneswood Drive, Goldsboro, who is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Police ask that anyone who might know where Gaines is to contact the Goldsboro Police Department at 919-580-4211 or Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255.

Smith was in the Wayne County jail Friday under a $100,000 secured bond.
