HOPE MILLS, N.C. — Authorities have arrested a suspect and are looking for another in the death of a Spring Lake man who was shot during a party in Fayetteville Saturday night.

Harvey Sangster, 26, of 5506 Quarter Pole Lane, Hope Mills, faces a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Bryce Marcel Lee.

Lee was taken to a local hospital, where he died Sunday evening.

Investigators haven't offered a motive for the shooting but say he was shot around 11:30 p.m. Saturday after an argument at a party at 691 Prestige Blvd.

Fayetteville police are also looking for Garrett Todd, 22, who is wanted on a first-degree murder charge in connection with the case.

His last known address is 2704 Helaman Court, and investigators say he should be considered dangerous.

Detectives ask that anyone who might have been at the party or knows of Todd's whereabouts to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-549-7326 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.

Lee's shooting comes after other house party violence has led to talk of a curfew for some Fayetteville residents. Some officials have even suggested trying to find ways to regulate and permit such gatherings.
