Suspect arrested on identity theft charges

Jamie Lynn King, 31, is charged with four counts of obtaining property by false pretense, two counts of financial card theft and one count each of identity theft, possession of stolen goods, forgery and uttering a forged instrument.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police have arrested a Durham woman wanted on several identity theft and fraud charges.

Jamie Lynn King, 31, is charged with four counts of obtaining property by false pretense, two counts of financial card theft and one count each of identity theft, possession of stolen goods, forgery and uttering a forged instrument.

Police said King stole credit cards and used them to make numerous
purchases. She is also accused of using a check that was stolen in Cary.

King was arrested Saturday morning as a result of a Crime Stoppers tip, Durham Police said.
