— Police released surveillance photos of two masked men they believe were involved in a homicide in a shopping center off Miami Boulevard Sunday morning.

The photos show the men, who are wearing masks, entering and leaving the Laundry King Laundromat in Wellon's Village Shopping Center, 1000 N. Miami Blvd.

Police have not filed any charges in the death of a Hispanic man in his early 40s, who was found lying on the sidewalk in front of the laundromat around 7:50 a.m. Sunday.

Officers withheld the victim's name, pending notification of family.

Anyone with information about the homicide is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200, Sgt. Jack Cates at 919-560-4440 ext. 262 or Investigator Penny Stewart at 919-560-4440 ext. 244. Callers to Crime Stoppers never have to identify themselves.

That's terrible. I hope they're able to find his family. If he's an immigrant and his family's lives in their native country it could prove to be very very difficult.

My friend's father-in-law worked in Manhattan as a janitor and was never heard from again after 9-11. He was an immigrant from Mexico with family living in Mexico.

Hopefully they'll catch the jerks that did this.
