RALEIGH, N.C. — Surveillance photos showing a silver or gray sedan many help police solve the shooting death of a man found in a car Thursday night on Raleigh's Capital Boulevard.

A man who called 911 to report the shooting described the suspects' vehicle as a gray Ford Focus, but police are not certain of the car's make or model.

The sedan appears to have damage to its left-rear door near the door handle, and it may have a small spoiler on the trunk.

Police said the two people in the car are wanted in connection with the death of Aaron Troy Jacobs. Jacobs, 24, was found in a car Thursday night just after 10 p.m. He was taken to WakeMed but did not survive.

Anyone with information is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357 or to visit raleighcrimestoppers.org for text and email reporting options. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
