— Fayetteville police are searching for a man captured on surveillance video breaking into cars.

In images released Friday, a man appears to pull up in a 1990s model Honda Civic with a white body and black hood and roof. After he parks, the man exits his vehicle and loads items from an adjacent care into his own.

This was the same situation that happened to us. My wife went to a book sale at a warehouse in Raleigh. A car pulled up along side, smashed the back window, grabbed her case of glass jewelry (she makes her own blown glass beads) and took off. She lost nearly a year's production and of course we had to deal with fixing the window and not feeling safe.

That car is an Accord, not a Civic.
