DianeNC-Thank you! It took alot of planning and i get confused alot, but it worked out great! I just got a Walgreens card last night and already have a Rite Aid card. I have only stuck to HT because I have gotten so overwhelmed with just doing one store, i cant imagine adding 2 or 3 more. Maybe after this super doubles event is over, I will try. Thanks for the advice! :)

madevita87 - $40 out of pocket for $320 worth of groceries is excellent! (I don't think I've even done that well yet, LOL.) Wait until you start trying out some of the drug store deals! They can seem a little confusing at first, but some are pretty clear cut. Last week, for example, Walgreens had some new Tums product on sale for $4.50, but you got $4.50 back in their Register Rewards - which you can use at Walgreens or...Harris Teeter! ;) So they're basically paying you $4.50 to buy this product, LOL. Can't beat that!

No more super doubles for me this time. My closets are full and I even took a trunk full of goods to the food pantry. I am now working on holiday menus to see if I even need to go to the store. Is anyone else running out of space? My paper goods seem to take up the most space.

Just wanted to say thanks again for all you do. I have went 4 days to the super doubles event and doing my 5th one today. As of yesterday, i spent $40 on $320 worth of groceries. You are a life saver! I am still new to couponing and stick to mainly HT, but I am so thankful for these type of savings. My husband is so happy and he tells everyone about it! When people ask how I do it, I refer them to your link :)

Brooklyn - They really do take customer service to the next level.

erinhewitt001 - Congrats on your AWESOME savings!! That is a ton of money to save - especially on your FIRST attempt at super doubles! And you are too kind, but there are lots of folks here on the blog who post deals as well. There is no way I could find them all myself.

pruddle13 - some do and some don't. None of the Catalina's for an amount off a specific product (like $1 off 2 Steamfresh veggies) have ever doubled for me. And I believe most (if not all) Catalina register coupons indicate Do Not Double on the coupon.

BUT, I have had some Register Rewards from Walgreens double in the past.

I have not had any Food Lion Catalina's for a total off your total order (like $2 off a $20 order) double. Hope that helps.

    Faye...gotta love HT CS...best around.

  • erinhewitt001 Nov 4, 9:38 a.m.

I am completely blown away at how Faye keeps all of this together and is able to tell you the best deals. I had a terrible time keeping my deals straight with the 2 stores running the Double deals at the same time. Thank you for all you do. This was my 1st real attempt at Super Doubles and I saved 79.84 on my first trip. Yay!!

Brooklyn - that is so good of them to do that!

FYI...my HT was out of the Dixie sugar. They said I could substitute another (I think it was White Gold?) for the sale price. I asked for a rain check since I had a coupon for Dixie. She said no problem...they can override it and still give me the 55 cents off and it doubled :)
