Target soda sale

Target has a stock up deal on ALL 12-packs of soda this week and the deal is even better on Sunday and Monday!

Here's the deal:

Sale: All 12-pack, 12 oz cans and 8-pack, 12 oz bottles of soda are on sale for $3.33 each at Target this week (that is not a good deal).

Cartwheel: Use the 25% off Target Cartwheel coupon making them 4 for $10 ($2.50 each). This 25% off soda Cartwheel discount can be applied to up to 10 of the products.

In-ad coupon: Then use the in-ad coupon for a $10 Target gift card when you buy $50 worth of groceries on Sunday, 5/29 and Monday, 5/30 only. To have the coupon sent to your smartphone, text SUMMER to 827438. The coupon excludes baby food, pet food, Target Cafe and Starbucks Cafe. Limit 1 coupon per customer. It is only valid on 5/29 and 5/30/16.

Scenario: Buy 10 of the 12-packs and the total is $25 ($2.50 each). Then buy $25 more worth of groceries on Sunday or Monday and you can use the $10 gift card coupon to make the deal even better.

For instance, if you really want to stock up on sodas, you can buy 10 of any brand of 12 -packs and then 25 Pepsi 2 ltrs (on sale for 5 for $5). After the Cartwheel discount on the 12-packs, the total at the register will be $50 plus tax. You will get back the $10 Target Gift Card to use on future purchases, making the total basically $40 for the sodas after "rebate" (gift card).

That makes the 12-packs $2 each and the 2-ltrs only 80 cents each!

Another good grocery deal from the ad is Yoplait Greek Yogurt on sale 10 for $10 AND get a $5 Target gift card when you buy 10. There is also a coupon for .50/2 from

So could you double dip and get the 10 yogurts (and $5 gc) as part of the $50 worth of groceries to get the $10 gc?

That's such a great deal for soda. If you want to sweeten the pot even further, once you hit the $50 mark for groceries, you can use the receipt for one of the $25/50 rebates we talked about here recently. Hurry, though, I think the purchase period for rebate offer ends 5/30.

I would totally take advantage of this deal if I hadn't maxed out my soda storage space on the DG 4/$10 soda deal last week.

I love a good deal but I would not go to Target if they were free #1
