RALEIGH, N.C. — Police have charged a 34-year-old man with robbing a SunTrust Bank branch in Raleigh Tuesday.

Carlton Theodore Landis was arrested at a Burlington motel Tuesday evening and taken to the Wake County jail.

Police say that, shortly before 10 a.m., Landis passed a note to a teller at the bank, at 7320 Creedmoor Road, saying he was armed before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A different SunTrust Bank branch in Raleigh was robbed Monday.

Authorities have not said whether the two might be linked.
