Student charged with bringing weapon onto school property

— An East Wake High School student was charged Wednesday with bringing a weapon onto school property.

Wake County sheriff's deputies arrested Jamaal M. Estelle, 16, of 7317 Campsite Drive in Wendell, after he was found in possession of a serrated hunting knife while on campus, according to an arrest warrant.

Estelle was released to the custody of his family. He is scheduled to be in court on April 14.

    can wake county send a letter home to parents saying we are not to bring weapons of any kind to school... and if you do have weapons in the house please pat students down before leaving every morning!!!!! lol

    Only last week 4 students at Durant RD Middle were charged with bringing a BB gun to school. Just a sign of the times. A direct reflection of our society.
