Student charged in string of assaults on Raleigh greenway

A Wake Forest-Rolesville High School student was arrested early Monday on charges linked to a recent string of assaults on the Upper Neuse Greenway Trail.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake Forest-Rolesville High School student was arrested early Monday on charges linked to a recent string of assaults on the Upper Neuse Greenway Trail.

Brett Edward Gunter Hill, 17, of 2525 Triffle Lane in Wake Forest, was charged with two counts of sexual battery and one count each of assault and battery and indecent exposure. He was released after posting a $4,000 bond.

According to arrest warrants, Hill is accused of slapping a woman on her buttocks on March 9, exposing himself in a public park on May 12, trying to pull someone's shorts down on June 5 and grabbing a woman by her shirt, causing her to fall down, on June 12.
