Student arrested for knife at Enloe High

— Raleigh police arrested a teen Wednesday for possession of a weapon on the campus of William G. Enloe High School in Raleigh.

Curtis Tavon Smith, 16, of 638 Ralph Drive in Raleigh, had a four-inch knife at the school, at 128 Clarendon Crescent in Raleigh, police said.

    Great idea; let's expel him. Why give him a chance to succeed? Hit him with the most severe punishment we can think of.

    At my son's HS they are expelled for the year. Happens all the time... sorry to say!

    I wouldn't bet on his seat in classes being available. The school system doesn't like to keep kids out of school. They want those numbers to look good - no drop outs. He will go back to school and laugh at authorities because they can't do much about it but give him a slap on the hand.
    This is why we need reformatory schools.
