Mark your calendars: Postpartum Education and Support's StrollerThon is May 18 at Bond Metro Park in Cary.

The two-mile walk and family fun event raises money for the group, a nonprofit that supports the emotional wellness of mothers. Among the many things that it does, the group organizes the Moms Supporting Moms support group for women with postpartum mood disorders.

The walk begins at 9 a.m. It's followed by children's games, face painting, food and information from family-related businesses, health care providers and other groups. There's a raffle too. Moms of young kids take note: The first prize is a Bumbleride Indie Stroller. Tickets are just $2.
