Woman, two men sought in armed robbery

Rocky Mount police are seeking a woman and are trying to identify two men after an armed robbery at a hotel around midnight Friday.

Charlie Toffton, 39, told police that Olivia Botti Kafka, 37, gave him a ride to the Executive Inn, 1821 N. Wesleyan Blvd., where he was staying. Kafka left the room, then returned with two men, one of whom was carrying a gun.

The men demanded money and threatened to shoot Toffton, police said. He handed over $700.

Toffton was struck in the right eye and injured in his right leg during the robbery. He was treated at Nash General Hospital.

Police said the gunmen and Kafka fled in her car, a white Crown Victoria with a front plate that says "God is my co-pilot."

An warrant has been issued charging Kafka with aiding and abetting robbery with a dangerous weapon. She remains at large.

Police described one of the unidentified men as a black man, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 230 pounds. He has a goatee.

The second is a black man, 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 260 pounds. He has a goatee.
