A woman was shot at Wabash Street and Ridgeway Avenue in Durham Friday evening, police said.

A woman was shot at Wabash Street and Ridgeway Avenue in Durham Friday evening, police said.

Officers responded to calls about shots fired around 6:45 p.m. They found the victim, who had been wounded in the right shoulder.

She was taken to Duke University Hospital. Police said her injuries were non-life-threatening, and she was in stable condition.

Her identity was not released.

Investigators have not made any arrests, and the investigation was ongoing.
