There are so many events coming up this weekend, including live music and a barbecue festival.

Festivals

April 20: NC 'Cuegrass Festival - Enjoy a day of bluegrass, local brews and great barbecue in downtown Raleigh's Warehouse District during this annual festival.

April 20-21: 24th Annual Lebanese Festival - Experience Lebanese cuisine and desserts, enjoy live music and traditional dance performances, watch a belly dancer and more in Raleigh.

April 20: Grifton Shad Festival - This is one of the oldest festivals in the state. There are parades, carnival rides, an art show and more.

April 20: PirateFest - Swashbucklers of all ages will converge on the banks of the Tar River in Greenville for this annual festival. There will be live music, arts and crafts for sale, mermaids, sword fights and a beer and wine garden.

April 20: Childrens Day Festival - The American Turkish Association of North Carolina hosts this festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Downtown Cary Park. It will feature performances by children representing various cultures and dance schools, make-and-take international crafts, face painting, balloon animals, food trucks and more. Admission is free.

April 20: 3rd Annual Forest Fest - This family-friendly event celebrates the heart of Wake Forest and features a spring market, farmer's market, children's activities, food and vendors. It is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of Owen Avenue and Brooks Street. Admission is free.

April 20: SpringsFest 2024 - This event will feature more than 100 vendors, food truck, local breweries and more fun in downtown Holly Springs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

April 19: Dustin Lynch with special guest Skeez - See the show at Red Hat Amphitheater.

April 19: Zach Williams: A Hundred Highways Tour - A night of unforgettable music and soul-stirring performances in Raleigh.

April 20: Hozier - The Unreal Unearth Tour comes to Coastal Credit Union Music Park.

April 20: Ross Lynch & Rocky Lynch present The Driver Era: Live On Tour - See them on stage at the Ritz in Raleigh.

April 20: Tar Heel Troubadours: Fireside Collective - See the band perform at the North Carolina Museum of History in downtown Raleigh. Tickets are $12 for museum members and $15 general admission.

Dinos, shopping and more fun

April 19: Raleigh Earth Day - This free community event at Dix Park will include earth-conscious vendors and organizations, live music and games. It will wrap up with a free family-friendly movie screening on the lawn at 8 p.m. Admission is free.

April 19: 21Marbles: PARTYology - This adults-only event is from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Marbles Kids Museum. Enjoy laser tag, human foosball, take home crafts, a science-inspired drink, pizza and other games and refreshments. All attendees must be 21years and older. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 the day of.

April 19: Dueling Dinosaurs Gala - Before the exhibit opens on April 27, enjoy a roaring good time with dinosaur-themed cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres from carnivore and herbivore stations, live music and dancing, captivating performances, behind-the-scenes tours and interactive activities.

April 19: Cary Night Market - Discover a vibrant showcase of locally-crafted treasures while immersing yourself in an evening of music and entertainment at the Cary Night Market.

April 20: Marbles Sustainabiliday - Celebrate Earth Day during Marbles SustainabiliDAY on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. Team Marbles and community partners will deliver fun and playful activities that explore sustainable resources, practices and careers in our community. Learn how you can be a part of a brighter, greener future. The fun is included with your museum admission.

April 20: Duke Children's Community Fair and Over the Edge - Join Duke Children’s at the Over the Edge Community Fair at CCB Plaza in downtown Durham as people rappel down the side of 21c Museum Hotel. Ther will also be face painting, a Teddy Bear hospital, a space featuring Book Harvest and more fun from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.

April 20: Pop-Up Raleigh Art and Vintage Market - This monthly event at Trophy on Maywood Avenue features 40+ artisans, live music and food trucks.

April 20: Shops at Village District's 75 Year Anniversary - Enjoy live music, a beer garden, food, pop-ups, giveaways, a kid-friendly area and more!

April 20: The Price is Right: Live - Randomly-selected contestants play everyone’s favorite games.

April 21: Raleigh Charity Crawl - A fun afternoon, with food, drinks, music, and prizes, in support of charity at The Avenue Raleigh on Glenwood Avenue.

April 21: Durham Earth Day Festival - Head to Durham Central Park for this event on Sunday featuring music and food. There will be earth-friendly activities, educational resources and local vendors. It runs from noon to 5 p.m. and admission is free.
