South Garner High School's standout sophomore offensive tackle Ekene Ogboko has picked up another big offer. On Tuesday, Ogboko shared to his X account that he has added a verbal scholarship offer from the University of North Carolina.

Ogboko is ranked as high as the No. 21 sophomore in the country by 247Sports. Rivals has Ogboko ranked at No. 42 in the country.

The sophomore is listed at 6-foot-6 and 290 pounds. His older brother Nnamdi, a 3-star defensive tackle, signed with the University of Georgia in December.

In-state schools NC State, Duke, East Carolina, and Charlotte previously made an offer to Ogboko. He also has received the opportunities from the likes of Georgia, Penn State, South Carolina, and Florida.

Ogboko was named to the HSOT All-State Football Team as a third teamer. It was his first year at South Garner. He played his first year of high school at Riverside in Durham. South Garner finished with a 5-6 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the Greater Neuse River Conference. The Titans gave 4-seed Pinecrest a scare in a 45-31 loss in the first round.
