Myers Park High School's sophomore edge rusher Rodney Dunham's recruitment is surging.

In the last ten days, Dunham has received verbal scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Old Dominion, UNC, Duke, and Virginia Tech. East Carolina and UNC-Charlotte were the first to schools to offer Dunham. He also picked up offers from South Carolina and James Madison in January.

Dunham's profile is ascending after he was ranked as the No. 53 prospect nationally in the class of 2026 by On3. Dunham was also recently ranked in the top 200 by Rivals.

The defender was credited with 55 total tackles, 16 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, 20 quarterback pressures, and three interceptions in nine varsity games for Myers Park in 2023. He was an all-conference performer in the So. Meck Conference.

Myers Park finished the fall season with an overall record of 7-4 and as the champions of the So. Meck with a 5-0 mark in league play.
