A quick update on our plans for our big event at North Hills' Farmers' Market on Saturday.

I'll have a contest for three family four packs to the Museum of Life and Sciences' very popular Heroes, Villains and Special Effects event, good for entry into the Durham museum on either Sept. 17 or Sept. 18.

And Wool E. Bull will be with us too!

The event is 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at North Hills in Raleigh. The Sandbox kids band will be there, along with the Chick-fil-A cow, a giant chess board, North Hills' big foam blocks for the kids to play on, and an activity from Lil' Chef, which will be celebrating the grand opening of its new cooking studio for kids on Saturday too.
