Toys "R" Us Kicks Off Toys for Tots

U.S. Marine representatives kicked off the Corps' annual Toys for Tots drive at Toys "R" Us stores through the Triangle this weekend.

Marines will be accepting new, unwrapped toys at the Cary Toys "R" Us, 201 Crossroads Blvd., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Gifts can be brought to any Toys "R" Us store through Sunday, Dec. 9.

Toys "R" Us has pledged to match every toy donation made by customers.

Monetary donations are being accepted at any Toys "R" store until Christmas Eve.

The Marines have been conducting the Toys for Tots drive for 60 consecutive years. The partnership with Toys "R" Us is the largest retail partnership in the charity campaign's history.
