Carolers at Pullen Park for its Holiday Express

UPDATE at 10:25 a.m.: There have been some outages with the city's RecLink, but, at last check, it was working. Many of the time slots for the Holiday Express are now full and waitlists have started. Don't delay if you want to go this year!

Tickets for Pullen Park's very popular Holiday Express go on sale Tuesday, July 26.

This year's event includes a visit with Santa, a ride on the holiday train to view lights, unlimited carousel rides, a snow covered sledding hill, crafts and other activities. Tickets are sold based on a designated train time, so, especially if you want an earlier train time, it's best to get your tickets as soon as possible. They will sell out - even weeks in advance.

This year's event is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Dec. 1 to Dec. 4 and Dec. 8 to Dec. 11. Regardless of when your departure time is, ticketed guests can stay at the event as long as they'd like.

When tickets go on sale, they can be purchased online through the city's RecLink or by calling Pullen Park at 919-996-6468. Tickets are $10 each.
