The HSOT All-State girls basketball team for the 2022-23 season

HighSchoolOT's third annual all-state girls basketball team features 32 returning selections, with eight three-time all-state players. Only four players are two-time first teamers: Grace Christian of Sanford's Sarah Strong, Millbrook's Reychel Douglas, Cape Fear's Jayda Angel, and North Pitt's Zamareya Jones.

HighSchoolOT's third annual all-state girls basketball team features 32 returning selections, with eight three-time all-state players. Only four players are two-time first teamers: Grace Christian of Sanford's Sarah Strong, Millbrook's Reychel Douglas, Cape Fear's Jayda Angel, and North Pitt's Zamareya Jones.

There is a first, second, and third team with 15 players each. There is also an Honorable Mention list of 30 players.

Only players on teams in scholastic-based associations were eligible, save for some players who repeated their junior or senior seasons by reclassifying and are competing in their fifth season since entering ninth grade.

Players are listed with their averages in the following format: points / rebounds / assists. If a player notched more than 1.0 steals or 1.0 blocks per game, those were added as well. Averages without decimals were inexact calculations reported by coaches or other official sources.
