Suspect sought in Fayetteville bank robbery

Fayetteville detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a man wanted for a bank robbery that happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday at Lumbee Guaranty Bank, 6313 Raeford Road.

Fayetteville police are asking for the public’s help to identify and a man wanted in connection with a robbery that happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday at Lumbee Guaranty Bank, 6313 Raeford Road.

The suspect is a white man, approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, light brown hair with a slightly unshaven beard and a medium to stocky build. Detectives also believe he has tattoos on his left and right forearms.

He was wearing a black T-shirt, multi-colored shorts, white socks and black athletic shoes.

He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No other information was released.
