Smart plugs recalled due to shock risk

Smart plugs sold on amazon.com are being recalled because they could shock you.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says affected Emporia Smart Plugs are not grounded properly.

The recall only affects the 120-volt North American plugs and the 240-volt EU plugs.

Stop using these immediately.

If the smart plugs are connected to the internet, Emporia can disable them remotely.
