Raleigh man charged with possessing child pornography

A 63-year-old Raleigh man was arrested and charged Saturday with possessing child pornography images.

Leander Dewey Jones, 63, of 2931 Brentwood Road, is charged with three counts of felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Jones remained in the Wake County jail Sunday under a $600,000 bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
