Pro-Palestine rally to take place Saturday at Fayetteville Market House

There will be a rally for Palestine on Saturday in downtown Fayetteville.

Palestinian community members, friends and allies are protesting the Israeli military's bombardment of Gaza.

Group organizers are members of the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

"We will flood the streets of Fayetteville this Saturday, November 17th, with our unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their ongoing struggle for liberation," organizers said in a press release.

Dana Alhasan, a member of Muslims for Social Justice and a Palestinian community leader, said they are demanding an end to the blockade of Gaza, among other things.

The rally will take place at the historic Market House at 2 p.m.
