Police ID body found in Raleigh

Police said they have opened a homicide investigation after finding a man's body in southeastern Raleigh Saturday morning.

Responding officers found the body at 5600 Bringle Court in a subdivision off Poole Road around 10 a.m. A neighbor reported hearing sounds of a scuffle in the home during the night.

The victim was identified as Robert George Gagnon Jr., 28. Officers withheld his cause of death.
