U.S. marshals have arrested an alleged Latino gang member in Louisiana who was wanted in a fatal Halloween 2012 shooting in Raleigh.

Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies say 21-year-old Jorge Luis Juarez was among a group of people who were burglarizing a vehicle when shots rang out.

Investigators say Alfonso Canjay Rincon, 42, was shot in the 6100 block of Foxhall Village Drive while, they believe, he was looking for two men whom he saw peering into a neighbor's car.

Marshals found Juarez Thursday at a home in Jefferson, La., where he had been living since November 2012. He was taken into custody without incident.

Juarez was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center. He will be extradited to North Carolina.

Three others – Marcos Gabriel Chapparo, 20, Erick Pardo Martinez, 17, and Karen Alexis Gonzalez, 18 – were arrested in the case on Tuesday.
