2 Shot in Durham, Police Searching for Shooter

Two men were shot during an argument at a party in Durham early Sunday morning just before 1 a.m.

The party was held at the Bull City Elks Lodge, 2311 S. Alston Ave., police said. One man pulled out a gun and shot the other man, plus an unintended victim, police said.

One man was hit in the chest and was conscious and alert when an ambulance took him to Duke Hospital. The second man was hit in the knee and was also taken to the hospital, authorities said.

The men's conditions and names were not immediately available.

Police were searching for the unknown shooter.
