The Durham girl who was reportedly kidnapped at gunpoint Friday and later found has now been charged with delaying, resisting and obstructing a police investigation.

Durham Police located Natalie Sanchez Fernandez, 15, Friday night about 9:15 p.m. and later learned she was never actually abducted.

Her sisters, Veronica Sanchez Fernandez and Lady Sanchez Fernandez, and a male, Carlos Argueqa-Guezare, lied to police to cover for the girl, according to a police.

Both Fernandez sisters have been charged with filing a false police report. Argueqa-Guezare was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to police.

"Durham Police wants to thank everyone for your calls and assistance which allowed us to resolve this situation," police said in a news release Saturday.

Police had posted an Amber Alert for the girl on Friday after they were told she had been kidnapped at gunpoint from her school bus stop.
