Monuts named one of top doughnut shops in nation
Durham's Monuts Donuts made Thrillist's list of the top 21 Donut Shops in the country.
We aren't the only ones who love Durham's Monuts Donuts. The food, drink and travel website Thrillist has named it one of the "Top 21 Donut Shops in America."
The shop opened on East Parrish Street just over a year ago. Before that, they were a hugely successful tricycle-based business that routinely ran out of product at the Durham Farmers Market and various food truck rodeos.
Thrillist cited them for their flavors including Dirty Chai Swirl, Salted Caramel, Earl Grey, Chocolate Chai and Strawberry Buttermilk.
"Like the farmer's daughter, these suckers are irresistible," Thrillist's Kevin Alexander wrote.
