Man shot to death outside Henderson hotel

Henderson police said that a 54-year-old man was shot to death outside a hotel Tuesday night.

Police said that officers responded to calls about gunshots around 9 p.m. and found the victim on the ground next to the parking lot of the Budget Host Inn, 1727 N. Garnett St.

The man, whose name hasn't been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police declined to release more details, citing the ongoing investigation.
