Man shot to death outside Durham convenience store
Police are investigating the shooting death of a man outside a Durham convenience store late Wednesday night.
Officers responding to the shooting at Town-N-Country, 3101 University Drive, found the man with multiple gunshot wounds.
His name has not been released, but police said he was not an employee of the store.
The store's manager told WRAL News Thursday that the man was shot outside the store but managed to get inside before he died in front of the counter.
A clerk and one other customer were inside but were not hurt, the manager said.
Investigators have not made any arrests in the case, Durham police said in a news release. It did not mention a possible motive.
