Man shot, killed in Durham

A man was shot and killed in the 1400 block of Liberty Street in Durham Saturday afternoon, according to police. 

Police arrived at the scene just after 1:30 p.m. to find Alfredo D. Jobel, 28, of Liberty Street, dead on the sidewalk. 

According to police, Jobel was in a vehicle when the shooting occurred. The vehicle went out of control after the shooting and collided with a second vehicle. Two people in the second vehicle were taken to the hospital and were released. 

No charges have been filed.
