A man was shot in the 2100 block of Nelson Street, off Poole Road, around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to Raleigh police.

The man was shot in the side and taken to WakeMed. An update on his condition was not available.
Police have not discussed the circumstances of the shooting. No arrests have been made.
