Make a playdate with Go Ask Mom at North Hills!

Mark your calendars for Aug. 18!

That's when Go Ask Mom will be going on the road to North Hills during its very popular morning program for kids from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 18. North Hills will be bringing out their usual big, colorful soft blocks for the kids to climb all over in its commons area next to Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's. See my earlier post on North Hills Kids, which has been so popular it's been extended into September.

And we're planning more! Missy Currin, owner of Stroller Strides Midtown Raleigh, will be offering a free (that's FREE!) class at 9 a.m. Missy will lead you and your stroller-riding child through a workout around North Hills. It's for all fitness levels and a great workout. Missy showed us all some moves a few months ago when she began offering the classes. So check my earlier post and video.

I'll have some fun giveaways and a contest for a family four pack of tickets to the Durham Bulls. And the North Hills fire station will be bringing out its fire truck (assuming there are no emergencies they have to get to!).
