Jay M. Robinson 4-star WR Brian Rowe commits to South Carolina

Rowe picked the Gamecocks over offers from Duke, Wake Forest, East Carolina, and Charlotte.

On Tuesday, the South Carolina Gamecocks landed a commitment from a talented wide receiver from Concord. Jay M. Robinson High rising senior Brian Rowe picked South Carolina over a crowded field of Power 5 schools. He announced his choice on social media.

Rowe is considered a 4-star prospect by the On3 Industry Ranking aggregator and as a 3-star prospect by On3's own rankings, 247Sports, and Rivals. He is ranked as high as the No. 8 class of 2025 prospect in North Carolina. According to the On3 Industry Ranking, he is the No. 362 prospect in the country and No. 10 recruit in the North State.

The receiver is listed at six feet tall and 175 pounds.

Rowe also received verbal offers from Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Liberty, Georgia State, Miami, Cincinnati, Wake Forest, Georgia Southern, Duke, James Madison, Temple, West Virginia, Maryland, East Carolina, Illinois, Pittsburgh, Virginia, and Michigan State over the course of his recruitment.

Jay M. Robinson finished the 2023 season with an overall record of 12-1. Rowe earned a spot on the 2023 HighSchoolOT All-State Football Team as an honorable mention special teams selection. He returned three punts for a touchdowns. On offense, the receiver produced 50 receptions for 1,063 yards (21.3/rec, 81.8/game) and 15 touchdowns.
