'I couldn't be more happy': Trader Joe's to open new location in Raleigh

Trader Joe's is opening a new store in Raleigh!

The new Trader Joe's will be Raleigh's second location.

The new store will be in Brennan Station shopping center at 8111 Creedmoor Road. Business owners in the shopping center said they are excited about its arrival.

"Honestly, I couldn't be more excited," Nick Santopietro of Nancy's Pizzaeria said.

Despite possible traffic impacts, shoppers in the area say they are willing to accept a new tenant in the empty space, especially if it's Trader Joe's.

"It's great," Tarsha Ferrell said. "The neighborhood [and] shopping center is up to date and it looks good out here. I think it will do some good here for this community."

Raleigh currently has one Trader Joe's store located at 3000 Wake Forest Road.

There is currently no word on when the new location will open its doors.
