Jessica Greene of Bull City Craft in Durham returns today with another fun and easy holiday craft. Click here to see last week's craft - yarn snowman ornaments. And check back next Friday for a final holiday craft!

Gingerbread Birdhouse

Materials:

Unfinished birdhouse from your local craft or home improvement store
Pencil
Paint and brushes
Sequins, jewels, or glitter
Glue

1. With pencil, draw your gingerbread house designs onto the birdhouse. Candy canes, gumdrops, and icing icicles are classic decorations.
2. Paint your designs. Paint markers or sharpies are a less messy alternative, and can also be great for outlining and touching up designs.
3. Glue sequins, jewels, or glitter to the birdhouse for extra sparkle and fun!
