Failing asphalt on streets in Hillsborough will begin to be removed and replaced starting Nov. 1.

The resurfacing project is expected to be completed by Dec. 16, a spokesman for the town of Hillsborough said.

Businesses and residences will be notified by flier when work will take place on their streets. After fliers are distributed to the affected streets, cars should not be parked on the road.

The following streets will be resurfaced: Barracks Road, West Margaret Lane, Meadowland Drive, West Tryon Street, West King Street, East Orange Street and South Wake Street.
