The 2013 Got To Be NC Festival was May 17-19 at the State Fairgrounds. The festival celebrates NC agriculture with food events, rides, animal exhibits, live music and other attractions.

The annual Got to Be NC Festival runs this Friday through Sunday (more about that tomorrow!). I wanted to point out a great deal for families who plan on going to the N.C. State Fair in the fall.

During the festival, they'll be selling $5 adult admission tickets to the fair. The limit is six tickets per customer. You can get them at the ticket booth near the waterfall. They are available on a first come, first served basis.

Ticket booth hours are noon to 8 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday. The adult ticket price at the gate last year was $10, so this is a great savings.
