Fayetteville man pleads guilty to sex trafficking

A Fayetteville man pleaded guilty Monday to federal charges of child sex trafficking, authorities said.

Christopher Jason Williams, 33, of Windy Hill Circle, pleaded guilty to two counts of sex trafficking of children. He will be sentenced later and faces a minimum of 10 years in prison.

In January, a 14-year-old girl told police that Williams had held her against her will for several weeks at a Fayetteville home, had sex with her and forced her and another girl to perform sex acts for money. Police later found a 15-year-old girl locked in the attic of Williams' home.

Investigators said the girls had been captive for up to several months, and Williams beat them and threatened to kill them and their relatives if they tried to escape. Meanwhile, he posted nude pictures of them online, advertising that they were available for sex.

Hundreds of images of child pornography were found on Williams' cellphone, many depicting the two girls, authorities said.
