ECU, Elon latest to offer Cannon School TE/DE Henry Anthony
A junior tight end/defensive end at Cannon School in Cabarrus County is up to 10 offers.
Over the last couple of days, Henry Anthony reported the news of his verbal scholarship offers to East Carolina University and Elon University on his X account.
Anthony is listed at 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds.
The class of 2025 prospect's first offer came from Liberty University on Jan. 19. Since then, Anthony has also picked up offers from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Yale University, Dartmouth College, Brown University, Coastal Carolina University, Marshall University, and Cornell University.
In the 2023 season, Anthony caught 28 passes for 364 yards and three touchdowns. He also had nine rushes for 21 yards and a touchdown. On defense, he was credited with 31 total tackles, seven tackles for a loss, and three sacks. He has 425 career receiving yards and four career receiving touchdowns.
The Cougars finished the 2023 season with a 5-6 overall record. Cannon's season ended on the road in the first round of the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association's Division I state playoffs.
