Durham police officer under investigation

The Durham Police Department is investigating an allegation of misconduct against one of its officers, Chief Jose Lopez said in a statement Tuesday.

Lopez said the department initiated the investigation. He declined to release other details, citing personnel privacy laws, but said he would provide more information once the investigation is complete.
