Defy Gravity, the hugely popular trampoline arena that opened in Durham a couple of years ago, now has a location in Raleigh.

The destination, which offers birthday parties, workouts, slumber parties and open jump time, is at 5604 Departure Dr. off Spring Forest Road in north Raleigh. It opened earlier this month, according to its Facebook page.

The 20,000-square-foot facility has wall-to-wall steel-frame trampolines including angled trampolines, a foam pit and one of the largest trampoline dodgeball cages in America, according to its website.

In other words, your kids are going to crash after an hour or so here.

A word of advice: Buy your tickets in advance. If this location is anything like the one in Durham, it is open for walk-in traffic, but tickets often are sold out. It's best to buy your tickets before you go - especially if you're planning on a weekend or holiday.

For parents with younger kids: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., weekdays, are set aside just for kids ages 6 and under. Anytime between 9 a.m. to noon, the accompanying parent or guardian can jump for free with the kids.

DefyGravity already is open at 4300 Emperor Blvd. in Durham. Another location will open shortly in Charlotte.
