Child found dead in Fayetteville home

Homicide detectives from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office are investigating the death of a 9-year-old boy found at his home Thursday evening.

Authorities did not release any information about the boy other than to say he was found unresponsive. He will be autopsied by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
