A Wilmington casting agency announced in a Facebook post it’ll be looking for extras for a new Amazon MGM movie set to film in Wilmington.
The movie is called “Merv” and is set to star actress Zooey Deschanel of “New Girl” fame.
Filming will begin April 18th on Kure Beach. TW Cast & Recruit said it will post more details about the extra application process in the first week in April.
The post also says the movie will revolve heavily around dogs, so it will possibly be looking to cast dog extras as well.
The agency says people interested in submitting their dogs can upload a picture of them in their Castgen account, a database the agency uses to find extras.
